Stevie is a new product that turns personal social feeds (like Facebook and Twitter) into a personal broadcast television experience. Stevie focuses on content friends share, and cool, relevant content from around the web - top videos, status updates, tweets, likes, events, headlines and birthdays - to create a whole range of engaging shows such as: The Comedy Strip, Music Non-Stop and Celeb TV.
Each viewer’s unique programming line-up is a product of The Stevie Factor, the algorithms that bring together multiple content sources, determine viewer’s tastes, and know when to show each piece of content.
About the company:
The Stevie team began working in October 2011, securing $300k from angel investors, including Jeff Pulver and Gigi Levy. Stevie is currently participating in the first Microsoft Accelerator for Azure program for innovative start ups in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Co founders Yael Givon (CEO) and Gil Rimon (Chief Creative Technologist), based in Tel Aviv, are seasoned web creatives and experienced entrepreneurs.
